They are definitely friendly, enjoy being out and handled, and they do seem to recognize, trust, and connect with their keepers. I've been working with reptiles for thirteen years, and I've honestly never met a more intelligent, interactive species of (relatively) small lizard. I would highly recommend them; they are an absolute joy to own.
