How do I get rid of millipedes?
Written by scottology on August 25, 2010 – 12:00 am -I live in Australia, and have a really bad problem with millipedes. For All those X-Files Fans out there our front door step looks like it is covered in the living black oil at night, and everyday I remove at least 30 from inside the house (record is 75), most pest controllers say "there is nothing you can do about them." but I am getting pretty desperate!
any ideas?
I also have a toddler (which I don’t want to get rid of
) so hopefully something non toxic to humans…

Written by scottology on August 6, 2010 – 11:27 pm -Well i have 2 giant african millipedes and 3 death head roaches and they are housed seperately in exo terra plastic tanks. I recently bought a large glass exo terra tank. And they both have the same requirements so i am wondering if i can house them together? How did millipedes get into my apartment?
Written by scottology on June 30, 2010 – 4:16 am -I live in Illinois on the 6th story of my apartment building. When I woke up this morning I saw that there are millipedes everywhere. Most of them are dead, but they all must have gotten in last night. I had all doors and windows closed. I probably picked up at least 30 of them this morning. Has anyone else dealt with this before? I am very scared of bugs and now I am worried there is an infestation because I don’t even see how they would get onto the 6th story. Please help!

How do I get rid of millipedes in an indoor potted Majestic Palm?
Written by scottology on May 25, 2010 – 4:16 am -I bought a Majestic Palm that is for the indoors. The very next day after I repotted it into a larger pot and added more soil I noticed that it is now infested with millipedes.
My wife is no flipping out and I need to find a way to get rid of them.
Any suggestions on how to kill them without killing the Majestic Palm?
