Where is the best place in michigan to find skinks?

i love looking for reptiles but only to play with them for a few minutes then release them back to the wild. the only thing i haven’t found are five lined skinks. please where in Michigan is the best place to look for them?

Are blue tongued skinks friendly? Do they like to be held and do they bond with it’s owner?

Are blue tongued skinks friendly? I know that chameleons do not like to be held, so I’m wondering if they are better. If blue tongued skinks are not that friendly, can you tell me a lizard that will bond and that does not ge stressed as easily?
