When I got my “first” yellow belly slider the guy at the pet shop was all like “stay away from the so called experts on the internet, they don’t know what they are talking about” he died after a couple of days because he had a respitory infection, god knows how long he had been ill for… Complaints were filed. I have since bought another and with the help of some proper research, he is healthy and one of the most rewarding pets I have had. Loves him!

a list to feed almost all turtles;
(all fish must be captive bred not caught from the wild) rosey red minnow fathead minnow, tetras like black neon and regular neon (work nicely) beta fish, white cloud minnows, veggies (anything but like iceburge lettuce or something idk) bannas, strawberries (please wash them so your turtle dosent get a tummy ache) and shrimp.. like ghost shrimp bamboo shrimp, crabs like fiddler crabs, and maybe hermit crabs? i dont know on that one. declawed crayfish work.

gahh! petland knows nothing!
you never. NEVER under any cirrcumstances EVER feed your turtle GOLDFISH. it will kill your turtle.buy rosey red or fathead minnows to feed to your turtle. minnows are good as long as they aren’t caught from lakes……
