Toads? ? ?

does anyone own a toad and I mean a real "bufo" toad. what kind is a good starter toad speices and are there any distributors of toads that you know of???

bufo marinus….also known as a cane toad or marine toad
bufo americanus…american toad. i keep both of them and they are fairly easy
i would go against catching them in the wild because more then likely they have parasites
where are you located? i think you should start looking online

I’ve kept american and fowler’s toads. They are easy, they don’t need any special lights or heaters, just some moist substrate, and a water bowl and a varied diet.
They are fun, and pretty calm pets.
